Provides legal research, opinions, and advice to the City across municipal law, litigation, employment, and public safety. Responsibilities include prosecuting municipal violations, representing the City in hearings and litigation, reviewing public-records requests, supporting employee disciplinary matters, drafting ordinances and contracts, and training departments. The role requires maintaining Texas bar licensure, meeting CJIS access qualifications, and completing continuing legal education.

Leads Arlington’s arts, culture, and events strategy, including cultural district development, festivals, public art, performances, special events, and outdoor programming. Oversees event coordination, arts grants and reporting, public art initiatives, budgets, consultants, contractors, staff, and community partnerships. The role also manages departmental events, supports third-party events, improves processes, and coordinates with city departments, vendors, media, and the public.
