Supervise, direct, and guard inmates on outside work details; transport inmates, enforce rules, maintain discipline and security, conduct searches and headcounts, prepare reports, and coordinate with law enforcement and supervisors.

Respond to fire and medical emergencies to protect life and property; control and extinguish fires; perform search and rescue; provide basic trauma and life support; maintain required certifications and a timely response location.
