Produce daily local editorial content for podcast, newsletter, and social: pitch ideas, write newsletters, prep and contribute on-mic, edit episodes (Descript), develop beats, capture field moments, create social content, and produce podcast ads.

Freelance on-call producer/writer supporting city teams: produce and edit podcasts (using Descript), pitch and write daily newsletters, prep hosts, produce episode ads, and create social content as needed for assignments lasting one week to three months.

The editor will manage a team of reporters, edit stories, refine pitches, oversee accuracy, and support cross-platform storytelling, while developing reporters' skills.
