Supports new product introductions for mixed-signal audio semiconductors by analyzing yield, test, cost, quality, and reliability data. Collaborates with design, test, manufacturing, quality, and external suppliers to improve production efficiency, investigate failures and returns, support corrective actions, and reduce costs. The role is designed for recent or soon-to-graduate engineering students with foundational programming, statistics, hardware, and semiconductor manufacturing knowledge.

Provides engineering support for semiconductor customers throughout the product lifecycle, leading design-ins, system bring-up, debugging, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution. Develops application documentation, demonstration platforms, reference designs, firmware, RTL, Python demonstrations, and circuit analyses. Collaborates with design, systems, and validation teams on mixed-signal product definition and travels approximately two weeks annually for customer support.

Develops and qualifies semiconductor IC testing methodologies using automated test equipment, designs hardware and software solutions, improves production yield and test efficiency, and leads design-for-test initiatives. Collaborates with IC design engineers, drives continuous improvement, and mentors junior engineers. The role requires mixed-signal test engineering expertise, PCB design knowledge, bench equipment experience, and strong organizational skills.
