Lead manufacturing engineering for tight-tolerance, complex machined parts: develop processes, CNC/CAM programs, tooling/fixtures, standard work, and manufacturability input; drive continuous improvement (Lean, kaizen, TPM), manage projects/capital equipment, perform DOE/SPC root-cause analysis, mentor staff, and support cross-functional teams including quality and production.

Lead a portfolio of operational excellence projects across Lean, manufacturing engineering, quality, and CNC programming. Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependencies and resource conflicts, communicate status to senior leadership, and drive initiatives from problem definition through implementation, validation, standardization, and sustainment. Track financial and operational benefits in a regulated, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.

Executes supplier follow-up and delivery management for purchased materials, monitors purchase orders, updates ERP/MRP delivery dates, identifies risks, and escalates delays. The role communicates with suppliers and internal teams, supports shortage tracking, maintains delivery records and reports, assists with supplier performance monitoring, and follows expediting and compliance processes, including documentation and traceability requirements.
