Conduct outbound outreach to target industrial accounts, book and qualify introductory meetings, and build a qualified sales pipeline. Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline records while supporting customer engagement during model delivery. Over time, take ownership of accounts through the full sales cycle. Communicate with manufacturing operations, supply chain, and controlling leaders in German and English.

Own the product roadmap for a production-planning decision platform, balancing customer-specific use cases with scalable, reusable capabilities. Work directly with plant managers, controllers, founders, engineering, and customers to define requirements, prioritize work, make trade-offs, and determine product versus project scope. Translate recognized customer problems into usable capabilities, communicate decisions clearly, and establish product discovery and delivery standards within a small founding team.

Builds and deploys quantitative optimization or simulation models for industrial customers. The role involves understanding planning processes, cleaning messy ERP and Excel data, writing production-quality Python, delivering customer-specific models, supporting production use, and feeding recurring customer needs back into the product. The engineer works directly with plant managers and controllers, owns projects end to end, and regularly travels to customer sites across the DACH region.
