Manage full lifecycle of customer accounts for a freight brokerage: prospect and close new business, oversee freight execution, negotiate rates, coordinate carriers and operations, grow and retain accounts, and provide proactive customer communication to maintain margins and retention.

Lead month-end and year-end close activities, reconcile balance sheets, manage multi-entity consolidations and intercompany eliminations, handle high-volume freight accounting and carrier settlements, prepare audit-ready financial statements, liaise with external auditors, and drive process improvements and automation across accounting workflows.

Drive new customer acquisition and revenue by prospecting (100+ daily outbound dials), securing 2–6 new shippers monthly, scaling accounts to 100–150 loads/month, negotiating rates and contracts, creating rate proposals, coordinating with operations for flawless load execution, and monitoring KPIs to optimize margins and retention.
