Leads non-clinical hospital operations, ensuring safe and efficient support for clinical services. Oversees patient and visitor experience, departmental performance, governance, incident and complaint management, budgets, resource planning, facilities and contract services. The role provides visible leadership, manages service-level compliance including NHS RTT standards, supports continuous improvement, and develops a high-performing operations team. Flexible shifts and on-call participation are required.

Leads the theatre team in delivering safe, high-quality perioperative patient care across anaesthetics, surgery, and recovery. Responsibilities include team engagement, clinical coaching, patient advocacy, safeguarding, evidence-based practice, audits, infection control, documentation, regulatory compliance, governance, workforce planning, and clinical decision-making.

Provides assessment and treatment for inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy caseloads, including musculoskeletal care and surgical pre-operative assessments. Manages patient care to high clinical standards, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, provides clinical direction to physiotherapy staff, and promotes a professional, caring environment. The role requires HCPC registration, Chartered Physiotherapist status, postgraduate experience, specialist MSK experience, and knowledge of relevant professional and healthcare quality standards.
