Manage and support PostgreSQL database environments, including installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, performance tuning, backup and recovery, replication, high availability, and production troubleshooting. The role involves automating DBA tasks with scripting, supporting disaster recovery and failover activities, documenting procedures, collaborating with application and infrastructure teams, and participating in on-call support.

Monitor production data loads, troubleshoot loading and integration issues, perform root-cause analysis and data validation, manage incidents, and document operational procedures. The role also supports ETL processes, scheduling through Airflow or Control-M, automated data extraction and validation scripts, workflow improvements, and cross-functional implementation of changes in a 24/7 environment.

Manages strategic client relationships and identifies opportunities to expand accounts using Circana data and software solutions. Translates complex consumer and point-of-sale data into actionable insights, recommendations, training, and presentations. Collaborates with Client Insights, Product, and Analytics teams, maintains technology industry expertise, manages sales pipelines, achieves revenue targets, and advocates for client needs while ensuring satisfaction and long-term success.
