Optimizes collector performance and supports observability adoption through documentation and developer tooling. The role requires expertise in Go, OpenTelemetry architecture, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, distributed systems, microservices, gRPC, and CI/CD automation.

Provides Level 2 production support for business-critical IBM i/AS400 applications. Responsibilities include incident resolution, system monitoring, batch operations, operational recovery, controlled configuration and data changes, root cause analysis, and technical escalation to development teams. The role supports critical transaction windows, overnight processing, releases, documentation, and continuous service improvement while working with L1, L3, infrastructure, application owners, and business stakeholders.
