The Tax Manager oversees Canadian corporate income tax compliance, tax accounting, tax provisions, transfer pricing documentation, audits, and indirect tax filings. The role prepares and reviews federal and provincial returns, manages tax installments, supports GST/HST, QST, and PST compliance, and conducts technical research. Responsibilities include partnering with finance, accounting, legal, and treasury teams, maintaining tax balance sheets, supporting financial disclosures, and contributing to tax planning and special projects.

Develops holistic wealth planning reports for high-net-worth clients and business owners, covering financial planning, insurance, tax, philanthropy, and estate strategies. The role gathers and organizes client data, collaborates with advisors, accountants, lawyers, and centralized planning teams, presents recommendations, tracks implementation, and supports advisor education. It requires strong client service, communication, analytical, organizational, and financial interpretation skills, along with CFP certification and occasional regional travel.

Leads medium to large business and technology projects from initiation through closure. Manages plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, governance, and stakeholder communications. Coordinates cross-functional teams, vendors, sponsors, and technology leaders while ensuring delivery aligns with strategic objectives. Supports PMO intake, integrated planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement.
