Teams at Churches United for the Homeless

Provide 24-hour awake shelter coverage and supervision, ensure guest safety and intake assessments, conduct orientations and property inspections, offer crisis intervention and referrals, maintain guest files and program data, collaborate with volunteers and staff, and assist with cleaning and upkeep to support guests toward stable housing.

Provide case management and support services to shelter guests, meeting each client within 72 hours of intake. Maintain community resource knowledge, monitor logs and incidents, identify and file mandated reports, attend team meetings and supervisory sessions, and support housing application processes while adhering to confidentiality and agency policies.
