Teams at Church of the Resurrection

Paid, full-time summer internship offering hands-on experience across church ministries and support functions, including student and children’s ministry, pastoral care, mental wellness, donor relations, marketing, graphic design, technical production, worship, IT, discipleship, missions, finance, and operations. Interns develop leadership, teamwork, ministry, and faith-based service skills while contributing to the church’s mission.

Leads the worship experience at the Leawood campus by managing sanctuary volunteers, schedules, training, communications, worship headcounts, guest follow-up, and logistics for worship services and special events. Oversees Communion and Baptism preparation, supports weddings, funerals, conferences, and major holiday services, maintains worship spaces, and collaborates with ministry and location teams to deliver organized, meaningful experiences.

Leads worship experience logistics, volunteer teams, guest connections, Communion and Baptism services, seasonal worship events, and sanctuary presentation. Provides location administration, including calendars, communications, databases, reception, supplies, travel coordination, event setup, catering, purchasing, expense tracking, and budget support. Requires strong communication, organizational, computer, database, and United Methodist theological knowledge, plus the ability to perform physically demanding worship-service duties.
