Leads finance operations as the CFO’s deputy, overseeing accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, internal controls, cash flow, compliance, audits, and staff development. Partners with executives and departments to translate financial data into strategic recommendations, improve processes through technology and AI-enabled tools, and present to boards and stakeholders. Manages reconciliations, closing activities, expense controls, and regulatory correspondence while supporting organizational planning and financial stewardship.

Develops corporate and association hotel sales across the East Coast excluding the DMV, targeting meetings requiring 400–2,999 peak rooms. The role manages client accounts, achieves room-night and new-account targets, builds market plans, closes business for member hotels, attends industry events, presents Chicago’s value proposition, and maintains strong client and partner relationships. Extensive regional travel of approximately 30%–40% is required.

Manages client services for meetings, tradeshows, and conventions in Chicago. Responsibilities include developing proposals, maintaining client relationships, managing budgets, updating CRM records, coordinating site inspections, arranging logistics, collaborating with sales and hospitality partners, delivering city recognition programs, resolving onsite issues, and attending promotional and industry events. The role requires occasional travel, flexible scheduling, strong organization, communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
