Conduct trauma-informed, bias-free investigations into allegations involving regulated health professionals. Responsibilities include planning investigations, gathering evidence, interviewing complainants and witnesses, inspecting practices and records, auditing compliance, writing investigation reports, communicating outcomes, and testifying at disciplinary proceedings. The role interprets legislation and policies, liaises with law enforcement and other regulators, monitors licensee compliance, and supports Indigenous cultural safety, anti-racism, and public protection objectives.
