Teams at Children’s Literacy Initiative

Provides instructional coaching and professional learning to teachers and school leaders, focusing on literacy instruction, data-driven improvement, and equitable student outcomes. Builds partnerships with school and district stakeholders, develops sustainable literacy strategies, monitors implementation, analyzes qualitative and quantitative data, and delivers progress reports and recommendations. The role also contributes to coaching model development, represents the organization as a literacy expert, and requires extensive East Coast travel.

Leads school partnerships focused on improving K–3 literacy instruction. Provides instructional coaching, designs professional learning, supports literacy implementation, analyzes qualitative and quantitative data, monitors partnership effectiveness, and advises school and district leaders on sustainable improvement strategies. Builds collaborative relationships, reports progress to stakeholders and funders, advances culturally sustaining practices, and contributes to coaching models and professional development resources.
