Teams at Children's Defense Fund

Support planning, promotion, and execution of programs and events at Alex Haley Farm. Coordinate communications, marketing outreach, event logistics, vendor and partner relations, content creation, archival organization, and evaluation/reporting to advance the Farm's mission and visitor experience.

Provides administrative, logistical, and project coordination support for Public Affairs and the ECOSYS Southern States Fund. Responsibilities include scheduling, tracking project activities, supporting regranting and contracts, coordinating partner communications, organizing convenings and travel, tracking technical assistance, maintaining documentation, and preparing reports and communications. The role requires cross-team coordination with partners, advisors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, with occasional travel and evening or weekend support.
