The role requires strong analytical, communication, mathematical, organizational, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills, along with local travel and compliance with federal funding background-check requirements.

Leads compliance investigations involving suspected fraud in childcare assistance cases. Mentors compliance specialists, conducts customer interviews, interprets eligibility and regulatory requirements, calculates service costs, manages repayment schedules and collections, and reports findings to management, workforce boards, and the Texas Workforce Commission. Maintains fraud and recoupment data, supports case reviews and training, and exercises independent judgment while handling confidential information.
