Teams at Chicago Scholars (The Chicago Scholars Foundation)

Lead and manage the development team to grow revenue from individuals and institutions. Oversee grants and individual giving, donor portfolios, stewardship, and fundraising strategy. Build systems, workflows, and cross-team collaboration; represent the organization to funders and support board engagement. Occasional nights/weekends for events.

Support Scholar communications by drafting newsletters, emails, and texts; monitor and promote opportunities; liaise between staff and Scholars; update Salesforce and manage communications data and archives; assist events and cross-team projects; compile a portfolio and deliver a capstone presentation.

Support the Marketing & Communications team by creating and posting social and web content, managing social inboxes, updating the WordPress site, advising on trends and strategy, covering events with photos and editorial notes, and handling administrative tasks such as organizing assets in SmugMug and Canva. Build a portfolio and present learnings at term end.
