Teams at Chicago Park District

Performs tree and shrub care and landscape construction under general supervision: climbing for pruning/removal, planting, fertilizing, treating disease/pests, operating and maintaining equipment, assisting in tree surgery and landscape projects, and addressing hazardous conditions.

Performs skilled bench and machine work to fabricate, install, repair, and assemble metal parts and machinery. Operates lathes, mills, grinders and other tools to execute work from drawings, sketches, or instructions. Maintains tools/equipment, submits daily reports, and works in confined spaces or on ladders as required.
