Teams at Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum

Provide administrative and operational support to the COO and multiple departments, including scheduling, purchasing and receivables support, documentation in Altru, volunteer coordination in Better Impact, event support, collateral distribution, and general reporting and office tasks to maintain efficient museum operations.

Support daily shipyard operations by cleaning, organizing, moving materials, and assisting shipwrights. Prep boats (sand, scrape, mask), maintain work areas, perform physical outdoor tasks, and learn marine trade skills with on-the-job training and potential advancement into apprenticeships.

The Workshop Educator develops and instructs hands-on workshops, ensuring safety and engagement while coordinating materials and communicating with participants.
