Teams at Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum

Support daily shipyard operations by cleaning, organizing, moving materials, and assisting shipwrights. Prep boats (sand, scrape, mask), maintain work areas, perform physical outdoor tasks, and learn marine trade skills with on-the-job training and potential advancement into apprenticeships.

The Workshop Educator develops and instructs hands-on workshops, ensuring safety and engagement while coordinating materials and communicating with participants.

Deliver school-age programs at the museum and in classrooms, greet and orient school groups, assist with outreach, teacher workshops, camps, festivals, and support flexible program scheduling.
