Teams at Charlie's Produce

Manage full-cycle bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 1,700+ employees; supervise and coach two payroll staff; oversee payroll processing, reconciliations, tax filings, garnishments, 401(k) contributions, audits, and year-end reporting; develop SOPs and internal controls; partner with HR, Finance, and department leaders to resolve payroll issues and ensure compliance.

Prepare financial analyses, statements, budgets, and forecasts; monitor variances and KPIs; support profitability and process-improvement initiatives; partner with CFO and business managers; liaise with IT and complete special projects to improve financial performance.

Support daily indoor farm production: planting, harvesting, packing, labeling, cleaning, and documenting food-safety procedures. Perform physical warehouse tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs), use Excel/basic computer tools for records, follow safety protocols, and complete required background checks.
