Leads the systems administration team and oversees enterprise on-premises and cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, identity and access management, virtualization, storage, backup, disaster recovery, security, monitoring, and incident response. Manages infrastructure projects, vendors, documentation, operational priorities, and technical improvements while ensuring reliable, secure, and compliant technology services.

Administers and monitors university cybersecurity technologies, investigates incidents and threats, manages vulnerabilities, supports network, endpoint, identity, and cloud security, and coordinates incident response and remediation. The role also manages cybersecurity awareness training, phishing simulations, risk assessments, compliance activities, security documentation, reporting, and policy implementation. It collaborates with IT teams and vendors and may provide after-hours support for significant security events.

Administers and secures on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including Windows servers, Microsoft 365, identity services, virtualization, storage, backup, and recovery. Monitors performance and availability, performs patching and vulnerability remediation, troubleshoots outages and security incidents, supports migrations and infrastructure projects, maintains documentation, and collaborates with IT, cybersecurity teams, vendors, and university stakeholders. Participates in maintenance, after-hours support, emergency response, and on-call activities.
