Teams at Charge Robotics

Lead recruiting at a robotics startup by building the talent function and recruiting processes from scratch. Own full-cycle hiring for technical roles, partner with hiring managers and the CEO, improve candidate experience, manage onboarding initially, support employer branding, and use recruiting metrics and HR technologies to optimize pipeline quality, velocity, and retention. The role is primarily in-person at the San Leandro headquarters.

Leads a 15+ person multidisciplinary engineering team through the transition from prototype development to repeatable production and scaled deployments. Responsibilities include engineering strategy, product architecture, team growth, process improvement, manufacturing transition, quality standards, stakeholder communication, and hands-on technical problem-solving. The role requires leadership of complex electromechanical systems and supports deployment of robotic solar-construction systems.

Integrate and deploy robotic factory systems by architecting, building, testing, documenting, and commissioning mechatronic hardware and software. The role integrates sensors, actuators, motors, hydraulics, robot arms, control systems, and industrial automation hardware while optimizing mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces for reliability and safety. Responsibilities include systematic debugging, validation, field deployment support, and occasional travel to solar construction sites.
