Teams at Champaign Park District

Lead inclusive afterschool activities, supervise participants (including transitions, field trips, and water activities), provide first aid within training scope, maintain attendance and incident records, manage supplies and program spaces, communicate with program leadership, attend trainings, and support youth with disabilities in a safe, structured environment.

Support daily operations across Park District departments by assisting program planning, event coordination, marketing, research, and patron engagement. Rotate through departments, complete a capstone project, participate in trainings and meetings, and uphold safety, confidentiality, and professionalism while gaining hands-on recreation management experience.

Lead planning, design, and delivery of parks, trails, facilities, and capital projects; prepare plans, bid documents, and cost estimates; manage grants and procurement; coordinate stakeholders and regulatory agencies; supervise planning staff; facilitate public engagement; and support budgeting and long-term capital planning.
