When Digital Product Designer Kendall Reynolds thinks about the new horizons at Chamberlain Group, she has one specific product in mind: myQ. “The team is excited about pushing the boundaries and seeing where we can take the myQ ecosystem next,” she said. Each day, Aubrey Arnosky is focused on meeting the needs of Chamberlain Group’s most important stakeholders: its customers. Chamberlain Group’s research showed that 70 percent of customers use the garage as the primary entry and exit point of their homes but lacked visibility to the driveway. After diving into customer needs and understanding pain points, Chamberlain Group developed the myQ Video Keypad to monitor and control entry and exit for customers where they need it most. “We’re uniquely positioned to solve this smart home and smart camera gap by providing a quality product,” she said.

John Davies is constantly seeking ways to streamline processes as his team works to meet tech needs across Chamberlain Group’s business. Whether analyzing capacity, tracking usage patterns in data or managing observability and telemetry tools, Davies needs to stay connected to a wide array of cross-functional teams. One of the key wins he’s found has been shifting Chamberlain Group to the cloud. “Running in the cloud has added a degree of resiliency and reliability that was much more difficult to achieve in our own company data centers,” he said.
As a digital product designer, Kendall Reynolds is responsible for sustaining the residential myQ app, from registration to ongoing user experience. Each day, she tracks design deliverables, collaborates with her team in Figma, dives deep into new problems and builds solutions. “While working through iterations of a solution, I run ideas by people on other teams to get varied perspectives and harness their skill sets,” she said. “It’s a very collaborative experience, and we work directly alongside our technical support center to hear from customers and create the best products for our users.”
