Teams at CGB Enterprises, Inc.

Performs barge fleet support at bulk-product facilities, including inspections, maintenance, rigging repairs, inventory management, documentation, supply delivery, and barge cleanup. Coordinates with dispatch and other fleets while following safety, OSHA, environmental, and PPE requirements. Work occurs outdoors around deep water, heights, confined spaces, dust, and variable weather. Requires extended hours, physical activity, swimming, and occasional travel to alternate locations.

Coaches employees and managers on safety systems and behaviors, conducts audits, site visits, observations, trainings, and orientations, and reports findings. Follows up on accidents, injuries, near misses, and corrective actions; assists with incident investigations, operational changes, and industrial hygiene testing. The role requires frequent travel to assigned locations, including overnight travel, and collaboration with facility and group managers.

Participate in a development program of up to 36 months to learn grain division operations and prepare for a management role. Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, directing staffing and grain facility activities, originating grain, negotiating contracts, managing risk and hedging, conducting market research, preparing forecasts and budgets, improving profitability, and enforcing safety practices. The role involves cross-functional training, potential relocation, physical work in demanding environments, and approximately 25% travel.
