Provide BLS patient care and ambulance transportation, respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, perform first aid, assist in patient removal and transfer, maintain vehicle and medical equipment, complete documentation, and participate in QA/QI and continuing education requirements.

Provide safe non-emergency medical transportation for patients, maintain vehicle readiness, interact professionally with EMS, and complete reports. Requires lifting, bending, and good communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving.

The EMT-A provides BLS patient care and ambulance transportation, responding to emergencies, assisting patients, and maintaining medical equipment. Duties include documentation and ensuring vehicle readiness, while working collaboratively within a team.
