Design and implement new ATLAS trigger algorithms and ML-based strategies for HL-LHC. Simulate trigger selections with HL-LHC Monte Carlo, estimate rates, ensure resource/rate constraints, develop supporting tools, implement in central ATLAS trigger software, collaborate with TDAQ experts, and supervise students.

Conduct research on ML and AI approaches for track reconstruction in high-pileup environments; investigate, benchmark, and integrate ML-based tracking algorithms into the EF/ACTS workflow; evaluate physics and computational performance; supervise team members and guide deployment toward CPU/GPU heterogeneous EF architectures.

Design and develop new L0 muon trigger algorithms (software and firmware) to improve robustness and sensitivity to challenging signatures using simulations and AI/ML; collaborate with ATLAS trigger and TDAQ teams; supervise students.
