Owns and improves machining and assembly processes across assigned product lines. Responsibilities include CNC/CAM strategy, tooling, process validation, DFM/DFA reviews, equipment qualification, SPC and capability controls, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, technical documentation, and cross-functional project leadership. The role also supports capital equipment implementation, trains operators and junior engineers, and ensures safety, quality, cost, delivery, and manufacturing compliance objectives are achieved.

Leads firearm product development engineering, including research, mechanical design, testing, validation, production release, and product improvements. Manages and mentors the R&D team, oversees product lifecycle and stage-gate processes, and collaborates with manufacturing, operations, suppliers, and business teams. Drives design-for-manufacturing, cost reduction, quality, tooling, process development, material science, and manufacturing efficiency initiatives. Maintains technical documentation, budgets, ISO compliance, safety standards, and continuous improvement efforts.

Supports daily HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, leave management, compliance, HRIS maintenance, records management, reporting, performance support, policy administration, and backup recruiting. Advises employees and leaders, assists with investigations and audits, maintains accurate personnel data, supports engagement initiatives, and ensures consistent application of employment policies and laws.

Leads companywide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning while analyzing performance, variances, costs, profitability, and business risks. Partners with department leaders to develop budgets, forecasts, financial models, and scenario analyses. Prepares executive reporting, supports financial controls and close activities, maintains ERP and budgeting data, improves planning processes, and may supervise financial analysts or budget personnel.

Oversee supplier quality for manufactured firearm parts through supplier audits, source and first-article inspections, incoming inspection planning, defect screening, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, nonconforming material disposition, and inspection-result communication. The role also trains quality inspectors, delegates inspection activities, maintains quality records, supports ISO standards and 5S practices, and ensures firearm safety and workplace compliance.

Create, curate, schedule, and optimize multimedia content across social platforms. Manage online communities, execute campaigns, track analytics, support brand awareness, collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams, and monitor firearms-industry trends and regulations.

Designs, tests, validates, and releases new products and enhancements to production. Leads cross-functional engineering projects, creates CAD designs and technical data packages, develops prototypes and test plans, performs dynamic testing, applies GD&T, evaluates manufacturing feasibility, manages technical risks, and coordinates schedules, budgets, resources, and project teams through product launch.

Develops and optimizes Mastercam CNC programs and complete machining processes for high-mix, low- to medium-volume production. Creates toolpaths, edits G-code, supports fixtures and tooling, proves out programs, troubleshoots production issues, and improves setup times, cycle times, quality, and tooling performance. Collaborates with manufacturing engineering, production, quality, machinists, and setup technicians while maintaining CNC documentation and revision control.

Supports mechanical product development from concept through production, including CAD design, engineering drawings, BOMs, prototype assembly, testing, validation, root cause analysis, and production launches. Collaborates cross-functionally on requirements, schedules, technical reviews, manufacturing methods, risk mitigation, and compliance. Requires periodic travel and participation in a manufacturing environment.
