Oversee Central Park Conservancy’s year-round public programs and events, including concept development, planning, permits, budgets, vendors, logistics, safety, on-site execution, and performance tracking. Support operations at the Davis Center by managing program staff, coordinating facility activities, enforcing safety standards, and delivering excellent visitor service. The role collaborates with internal teams, community partners, vendors, performers, and public safety stakeholders, with regular weekend and on-site event responsibilities.

Provides on-site technical support for Central Park Conservancy staff, troubleshooting hardware and software, installing systems, supporting Windows and Apple devices, configuring mobile devices, and assisting with networks. Performs basic Azure, Intune, Defender, and MDM administration; supports audiovisual setups, technology projects, and park-based locations. Documents and prioritizes requests, trains users, escalates complex issues, and helps maintain IT security and privacy standards.

Provide on-site visitor support and enforcement of park policies, manage permits and permitted events, respond to emergencies, cultivate community relationships, track park-use data, assist field operations, and provide a security presence at events while educating visitors about Central Park history and rules.

Plan, organize, and coordinate film shoots and special events in Central Park. Develop operational plans, liaise with City agencies and production companies, conduct site reviews, oversee event staff and compliance, maintain calendars and tracking, provide visitor information, and perform related operational duties including setup, cleanup, and post-event analysis.

Manage and deliver learning programs for Park Operations Academy and broader staff development. Design and produce training materials, facilitate sessions, coordinate logistics with vendors, track attendance and certifications (including defensive driving), and collaborate with leadership to expand offerings.
