Responsibilities include determining coverage, evaluating exposure, setting reserves, negotiating settlements, managing litigation and defense counsel, identifying fraud, coordinating subrogation, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely, fair claim outcomes. The role also supports team development, onboarding, training, and special projects.

Leads the enterprise internal audit function, developing risk-based audit strategies, overseeing internal and external audit providers, and advising executives and the Audit Committee on governance, controls, emerging risks, and regulatory compliance. The role manages audit planning, execution, reporting, issue validation, quality assurance, and provider relationships while modernizing audit practices through data-driven insights, automation, and continuous improvement.
