The Senior Accountant performs general ledger entries and analysis, month-end close activities, accounts receivable reconciliations, banking reports, audit documentation, funding expense preparation, allocations in Workday, and budget support. The role collaborates with the Assistant Controller, Grant Manager, Regional Finance Officer, and external auditors.

Leads Centerstone’s state legislative, regulatory, and government relations strategy in Indiana. Advises executives and the board, manages policymakers, lobbyists, advocacy partners, and coalitions, monitors policy developments, and influences healthcare and behavioral health legislation. The role drafts regulatory comments, communicates policy impacts, and represents the organization at the state capitol and public forums. Frequent capitol travel and residence within one hour of Indiana’s capitol are required.

Supports a safe, welcoming environment for behavioral health clients, staff, and visitors. Greets and assists individuals, provides information, manages communications, assesses threats, enforces safety measures, responds to unsafe situations, and uses authorized crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques. The role participates in treatment-team interactions, resolves client concerns, supports trauma-informed care, attends meetings, and works flexible or on-call shifts as needed.
