Center for Organ Recovery & Education

CORE is a federally designated nonprofit organ procurement organization serving western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. It works with hospitals and healthcare facilities to coordinate the surgical recovery and computerized matching of donated organs, tissues, and corneas for transplantation. The organization also educates communities about donation and connects donor families, healthcare providers, and transplant recipients, with a mission to save and heal lives through donation.
