The Accounting Manager leads accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, investment accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, payroll backup, internal controls, audit support, and Form 990 preparation. The role supervises and develops accounting staff, manages performance and priorities, improves processes and systems, and ensures compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards.
