Teams at Cenovus Energy

Leads process safety strategy and implementation across US refineries, serving as the regional subject matter expert. Develops methodologies, training, risk standards, and process safety engineering talent; oversees HAZOP, LOPA, HAZID, facility siting, fire hazard, and third-party studies; supports audits, regulatory interpretation, RMP compliance, and policy development across US and Canadian operations.

Leads cost control across downstream project execution and front-end development, overseeing budgets, commitments, forecasts, cash flow, change management, variance analysis, risk integration, and performance reporting. Provides governance, coaching, and functional leadership to cost engineers and contractors while partnering with project management, engineering, supply chain, construction, finance, and external providers. Drives process improvement, cost competitiveness, benchmarking, and accurate portfolio-level financial decision-making.

Supports Cenovus’s Investor Relations program by preparing investor presentations, earnings materials, reports, and executive briefings. Conducts financial modeling, shareholder and ownership analysis, equity research monitoring, and market commentary reviews. Responds to investor and analyst inquiries and supports engagement with the investment community. Collaborates with senior leadership, financial reporting, communications, and business stakeholders to communicate company strategy, performance, and outlook.
