Develops equipment designs, technical specifications, drawings, schematics, calculations, and engineering deliverables for assigned projects. Supports project management, manufacturing, aftermarket, vendors, customers, and consulting engineers. Reviews structural designs, evaluates field installations, resolves technical issues, and ensures compliance with applicable codes and regulations. The role also contributes to product development and requires travel to customer or vendor sites up to 25% of working hours.

Supports project managers by coordinating schedules, documents, suppliers, subcontractors, manufacturing activities, invoicing, and project reporting. Maintains document control systems, prepares transmittals and technical documentation, monitors scope, cost, schedule, and quality across functional teams, and manages standard product orders through delivery and closeout. The role also supports customer communication, collections, and administrative logistics while developing knowledge of engineering and fabrication processes.

Designs industrial electrical control systems and equipment, prepares technical drawings and engineering documents, reviews project requirements, supports sales proposals and estimates, coordinates with project teams, and inspects outsourced electrical procurement. Requires AutoCAD, control panel design, electrical codes knowledge, and technical writing skills. PLC programming and plant process control experience are preferred.
