Designs and checks highway plans, drawings, calculations, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and PS&E packages. Leads work groups on small and mid-sized projects, reviews shop drawings, performs highway geometry and quantity calculations, supports project meetings and site activities, and guides junior team members. Requires knowledge of highway, right-of-way, drainage, traffic design, applicable standards, and engineering software.

Lead major transportation and highway projects from scope development through design and reporting. Manage schedules, budgets, client relationships, multidisciplinary coordination, and roadway engineering deliverables. Provide technical leadership and mentorship while preparing or reviewing highway analyses, geometric layouts, specifications, quantity calculations, and reports. The role requires Massachusetts MassDOT experience, PE licensure, advanced highway engineering knowledge, and familiarity with design-build and accelerated bridge construction delivery.

Supports FEMA Public Assistance projects by documenting client losses, reviewing reimbursement materials, quantifying damage, preparing project worksheets and scopes of work, conducting site inspections, and processing grant documentation. The role requires client communication, FEMA systems experience, disaster-condition work, short-notice deployment, teamwork, and a minimum 20-week assignment in Kentucky.
