Teams at CDC Foundation

Support development and implementation of a national wastewater surveillance system for drug threats. Conduct systematic reviews, liaise with CDC centers and APHL, help develop ethical frameworks, standards, and technical guidance, and manage project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.

Support overdose surveillance and response for OD2A-funded health departments by analyzing fatal and nonfatal overdose data, creating reports and visualizations, conducting literature reviews, assisting SUDORS abstractors, developing manuscripts and fact sheets, providing training and technical assistance, and participating in data-driven prevention efforts.

The PoWER Initiative Coordinator will support the Kentucky Department for Public Health in managing and executing the PoWER Teams initiative, focusing on maternal health improvements and stakeholder engagement.
