Leads cross-functional operational transformation initiatives from intake through implementation and stabilization. The role manages scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, stakeholder alignment, executive communications, adoption, and benefit measurement. It coordinates business, technology, product, and operational teams; drives process improvement and organizational readiness; facilitates decision-making; and coaches an initiative coordinator. The position requires at least five years of experience leading complex initiatives, technology-enabled transformations, or process improvement programs.

Processes prescription orders, insurance adjudications, refills, data entry, medication preparation, labeling, inventory control, packing, shipping, returns, and destruction procedures. Provides patient and provider communication, resolves insurance rejections, maintains regulatory compliance, and supports pharmacy operations while protecting confidential information. Requires pharmacy technician registration, PTCB certification, strong medication knowledge, attention to detail, and evening and weekend availability.

Verifies patient insurance benefits, evaluates coverage, recommends suitable products, documents insurance information, supports billing and claims submissions, corrects account receivable issues, and ensures compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and private insurance requirements. The role involves outbound insurer calls, patient account review, payment collection actions, claim corrections, and customer service in a call center environment.
