Oversee daily bank accounting operations, month-, quarter-, and year-end close, general ledger reconciliations, investment accounting, SEC and regulatory reporting, audits, and internal controls. Prepare financial and regulatory filings, review system interfaces, support subsidiaries, and provide executive reporting. Manage one Staff Accountant while partnering cross-functionally and assisting the Controller with accounting operations, process improvements, staff development, and special projects.

Leads mortgage loss mitigation activities involving delinquent loans, foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, borrower counseling, and workout options. Reviews borrower documentation, prepares foreclosure and bankruptcy files, coordinates with attorneys, ensures FDCPA and regulatory compliance, prepares reporting and risk recommendations, and supports team members through procedural guidance and training.

Leads commercial credit administration by reviewing and approving new and renewed loans, evaluating borrower risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing problem loans and watch lists, and supporting complex transactions. Provides guidance, mentoring, training, and quality control for Credit Administrators and lending teams. Develops strategies for difficult lending situations and prepares credit summaries for Board or Credit Committee approval.
