Build and improve Catawiki’s self-service developer platform, cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, observability systems, and reliability capabilities. The role focuses on developer experience, automation, scalability, disaster recovery, security, cost efficiency, and platform operations while partnering closely with product engineering teams. This is a hybrid position based in Lisbon, requiring at least two office days per week.

The role focuses on developer experience, automation, scalability, disaster recovery, security, cost efficiency, and collaboration with product engineering teams. This is a hybrid position based in Amsterdam, requiring at least two office days per week.

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve scalable backend microservices and customer-facing product features. Own services throughout their lifecycle, ensuring quality, resilience, high availability, low latency, and maintainability. Collaborate with product, design, frontend, backend, and mobile teams; improve engineering processes, document best practices, resolve bugs, and refactor code. The role supports Demand, Supply, or Fulfilment product verticals in an autonomous Agile team.
