Perform mechanical maintenance, fabrication, inspection, troubleshooting, and installation across plant utilities and process equipment. Duties include servicing pumps, valves, pipework, safety equipment, and rotating machinery; TIG welding stainless steel; joining plastic pipework; supporting shutdowns and upgrade projects; and documenting work through a CMMS. The role requires strict adherence to EHS procedures, SOPs, risk assessments, PTW, and LOTO requirements.

Leads the design, development, installation, commissioning, qualification, and support of automation solutions. Acts as a subject matter expert, resolves complex technical issues, approves engineering documentation, assigns tasks, mentors engineers, manages technical risks, supports proposals, and collaborates with project management to deliver customer projects successfully.

Designs, develops, tests, and deploys custom machine vision systems for industrial automation projects. Responsibilities include optical configuration, proof-of-concept testing, component selection, technical documentation, system verification, installation support, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and customer collaboration. The engineer also supports procurement, training, risk evaluation, technical sales meetings, and continuous improvement while ensuring solutions meet customer, production, and industry requirements.
