Teams at Cartesia

Support four co-founders by managing complex calendars, travel, expenses, confidential information, and competing priorities. Build operating rhythms for leadership meetings, annual planning, OKRs, reviews, and board processes. Prepare agendas and materials, track decisions and follow-ups, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and represent founders with investors, partners, and candidates. The role requires high autonomy, sound judgment, discretion, strong communication, and the ability to create structure in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

Leads and develops a team of 7+ engineers while owning technical direction, roadmap, execution, architecture, design reviews, production incidents, scalability, reliability, and engineering quality. Partners with Product, Research, and other teams to align priorities and deliver complex technical projects. Requires strong people leadership, technical judgment, distributed systems experience, and cross-functional decision-making. Experience scaling teams and backgrounds in machine learning, AI infrastructure, or generative models are preferred.

Manage the operational backbone of Cartesia’s Voice function, supporting voice production, library health, talent sourcing, vendor logistics, and customer voice delivery. Build lightweight systems and automations, manage customer-facing engagements, enable go-to-market teams, and support strategy, events, marketing initiatives, and international growth projects. The role requires autonomous execution, executive communication, semi-technical system-building skills, and enthusiasm for AI voice technology.
