Coordinates funeral and memorial services under a licensed funeral director’s supervision. Meets with families, completes contracts and required paperwork, prepares and presents the deceased, coordinates clergy and participating organizations, directs attendees, arranges transportation and shipment of remains, maintains client files, and supports visitations and services. The role requires on-call availability, independent work, physical lifting, safe vehicle operation, and compliance with applicable laws and safety procedures.

Performs monthly financial review and analysis for funeral home locations, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, inventory reconciliations, general ledger postings, and internal control compliance. Collaborates with corporate and field personnel to resolve accounting issues, explain financial results, and improve processes. Assists with special projects, system testing, and accounting procedure enhancements.

Performs monthly close reviews and financial analysis for funeral home locations, prepares and posts journal entries, reconciles inventory and balance sheet accounts, resolves accounting issues with field personnel, supports internal controls, and implements process improvements. The role also assists with special projects and system upgrade testing.
