Provides professional nursing care to patients across all age groups, including assessment, care planning, medication administration, treatment delivery, documentation, patient education, and care coordination. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, supports quality improvement, advocates for patients, manages changing care needs, and assists with staff orientation and education. Requires a Virginia RN license or eligibility, BLS-HCP certification, and computer literacy.

Provides specialized nursing and technical support during electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization procedures. Prepares patients and equipment, assists physicians, scrubs procedures, administers medications under physician supervision, monitors EKGs and hemodynamics, manages procedural documentation, supports emergency care, and provides patient education and post-procedure care. Critical care experience is preferred, with training available for RCES certification.

Provides registered nursing care in an electrophysiology lab within a Level 1 Trauma Center. Supports cardiac procedures including ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, electrophysiology studies, and cardioversions. Requires a Virginia RN license, BLS-HCP certification, ACLS completion within six months, cardiac monitoring training, strong communication skills, and successful competency validation. Critical care experience is preferred, with specialized training available for RCES certification.
