Cultivates relationships with employers, workforce partners, labor representatives, and community organizations to identify workforce needs and job opportunities. Coordinates Rapid Response activities, orientations, hiring events, and services for impacted workers. Provides information about unemployment insurance, training, supportive services, and job placement. Maintains employer and participant records, supports reporting, ensures WIOA compliance, and collaborates with program staff on workforce solutions and sector strategies. This is a fully onsite role with local travel throughout San Luis Obispo County.

Sources employment opportunities, builds employer partnerships, pitches qualified health and sciences graduates to hiring organizations, and manages placement pipelines. Conducts email, phone, and text outreach to alumni; tracks engagement and placement metrics in a CRM; and provides virtual one-on-one coaching on resumes, LinkedIn, networking, interviews, branding, imposter syndrome, and entrepreneurship.

Oversee a WIOA workforce development project, ensuring contract compliance, program quality, expenditure performance, and service delivery. Lead and coach staff, manage performance evaluations, coordinate policies and continuous improvement, serve as the funding source’s local contract liaison, and maintain strong relationships with workforce partners. The role is fully onsite in Santa Fe or Farmington, New Mexico, with local travel up to 30%.
