The Echocardiogram Technologist performs high-quality cardiovascular ultrasound imaging to assess cardiac function, ensures patient comfort, maintains records, and supports team collaboration.

Process and manage high-volume cardiology referrals (50+ daily), schedule appointments in Epic, coordinate interpreter services, communicate with patients and internal teams about referrals, insurance, and appointment status, and assist with administrative tasks and special projects.

Provide telephonic triage and patient education for cardiology patients, assess symptoms, escalate urgent issues, act on abnormal test results, document in the EMR, coordinate follow-up care, and help develop workflows to improve patient safety and experience in a hybrid clinic setting.
