Designs and develops mechanical systems for a novel medical robotic platform from concept through product launch. Responsibilities include collaborating with manufacturing and clinical teams, building and bringing up robotic prototypes, supporting preclinical lab use, identifying technical risks, documenting manufacturability and reliability findings, and contributing to design reviews, verification, regulatory processes, and product development milestones.

Own electrical systems for a medical robotic platform from concept through verification and manufacturing transfer. Responsibilities include schematic and PCB design, component and connector selection, prototype bring-up and debugging, electro-mechanical troubleshooting, manufacturing test support, failure analysis, risk management, EMC and electrical safety compliance, design documentation, and technical mentoring. The role collaborates with mechanical, controls, software, and systems engineers and supports pre-clinical use and reliable production scaling.

Support structural heart valve product quality from development through production readiness and release. Lead design controls, risk management, verification/validation, sterilization and microbiology testing, acceptance activities, cleanroom operations, CAPA/NCR/MRB, and continuous improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Regulatory, suppliers, and labs to ensure compliance with device quality systems and applicable standards.
