Lead operation, delivery, and improvement of Capital Power's People Systems (HCM). Oversee day-to-day system operations, Workday integrations, vendor management, and Workday Specialists. Drive projects from intake through stabilization, ensure compliance with security/privacy/SDLC controls, and partner with stakeholders to translate needs into sustainable system outcomes.

Support identification, evaluation, and execution of utility-scale wind, solar, and storage development or acquisition opportunities. Assist cross-functional project development, due diligence, financial modeling, contract negotiations (PPAs, land agreements), stakeholder engagement, market monitoring, and preparation of investment materials to support Capital Power's US renewables growth.

Lead long-term fundamental power market forecasting, asset-level gross margin and dispatch modeling, and strategic market assessments for Eastern US regions. Support investment, trading, hedging, and business development with financial proformas, due diligence, and executive presentations. Monitor regulatory and ISO developments, manage external consultants, and build market dashboards to inform commercial and asset-management decisions.

Own and govern Capital Power's end-to-end forward price curve framework: design, build, validate, and maintain curves; manage curve intake, configuration in ZEMA/Allegro, daily production monitoring, IPV, model validation, and governance reporting to senior committees.

Provide expert analysis and long-term forecasts for PJM and Eastern power markets. Build and improve fundamental market models, support trading and commercial decisions, manage consultants, create BI/AI tools and reports, and deliver recommendations for hedging, investment, budgeting, and asset management.

Support plant operations by monitoring performance and heat balance, developing and applying engineering standards, contributing to project planning and execution, managing NERC compliance and Management of Change, and recommending technical solutions to optimize reliability and emissions. Collaborate with corporate engineering and operations teams and obtain Out-Plant Operator qualification.

Lead site engineering to optimize plant performance and longevity: monitor heat balance, develop and apply engineering standards, support projects from planning through post-implementation, manage NERC compliance and Management of Change, recommend technical solutions for emissions, controls, and equipment reliability, and provide O&M feedback and training.

Lead commercial management for assigned PJM assets: identify and mitigate commercial risks, optimize asset value, manage counterparties and joint ventures, negotiate contracts, support investment decisions, and report commercial opportunities to senior management.

Provide confidential, proactive administrative support to senior leadership in the Washington, DC office. Manage complex calendars, travel, expense and A/P processes, meeting materials and follow-ups, event planning, vendor relations, and cross‑functional coordination. Support strategic projects, maintain reports/board materials, handle inquiries, and provide backup coverage for the EA team while adhering to safety and company policies.

Provide day-to-day engineering and technical support for ICS/OT across the power generation fleet. Design, implement, and maintain PLC/DCS/SCADA/RTU systems, network and historian administration, lifecycle management, firmware and patching, and ICS cybersecurity. Lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, support sustaining capital and O&M, and ensure compliance with NERC CIP and internal engineering standards.

Support energy markets team with data collection, analysis, and modeling to produce long-term price forecasts, asset dispatch, margin calculations, dashboards, and reports. Track policy and market developments and collaborate with trading and commercial teams to support business development and scenario analysis.

Lead forecasting and analysis of North American power markets, producing price forecasts, dispatch and gross‑margin models, and commercial recommendations. Support asset valuation, due diligence, regulator impact assessment, and deliver presentations to senior leadership while managing consultants and building market dashboards.

Lead and grow the Product Control team overseeing valuation integrity, P&L production and attribution, price curve validation, valuation model governance, SOX controls, audit support, and ETRM system improvements to ensure accurate, explainable, and compliant reporting for commodity trading.

Manage day-to-day operations, O&M budgets, and contractor oversight for Macho Springs wind farm. Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, CMMS (Maximo) management, performance optimization, stakeholder relations, and timely maintenance and outage resolution.

Provide administrative and compliance support to Market & Trading Compliance and Government Relations: budget planning and tracking, training administration, lobby registry maintenance, invoice and expense processing, policy matrix upkeep, KPI tracking, travel and calendar coordination, and on-site training coordination.

Provide administrative and operational support to the in-house legal team, including calendar and travel management, mail triage, document receipt and distribution, SharePoint and records management, invoice processing and budget tracking, vendor liaison, external counsel program support, process improvement, and event coordination. Serve as a collaborative partner to the corporate paralegal and internal stakeholders to improve efficiency and maintain confidentiality.

Lead market fundamentals and electricity price forecasting for North American regions. Develop and defend market assumptions, support asset gross margin and dispatch modeling, inform investment and trading decisions, manage consultants, deliver executive briefings, monitor regulatory changes, and design market dashboards to support commercial and development activities.

Lead technical accounting work including assessing significant transactions, preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, AFFO and indirect cash flow, advising on IFRS/US GAAP issues, preparing disclosure checklists and memos, supporting auditors and senior management, and performing SOX controls.

Provide technical support, maintenance, and development for ETRM applications supporting commodity management. Apply patches and upgrades, troubleshoot complex issues, manage integrations with trading platforms, execute testing and DR planning, meet SLAs, and collaborate with business stakeholders and vendors to deliver cost-effective, scalable solutions.
